Victoria is small town girl who dreamed of moving to the big city to join the corporate workforce. After reaching her goal of earning an income that provided her the opportunity to do things she’s always dreamed of, the life, inspiration and purpose she once embodied began to decrease. Aside from her love for health and fitness, she has a true passion for helping others reach their fitness, health and mindfulness goals. Her athletic history includes competitive gymnastics, basketball and swimming. She has experienced the pain that comes from working in a desk job and while exercising, and was once unhappily overweight. Determined to make a difference for people who have similar experiences, she joined the health and fitness industry to put her athletic and mindfulness skills to work with a purpose to help others. What makes her different? She believes that the art of assists and adjustments (together with anatomy knowledge) is important in helping clients grow their practice and improve their lives mentally and physically. She has completed the MDX-1 training program with Myodetox and is trained to help clients ‘futureproof’ their bodies. Victoria's career has grown organically from happy clientele.
Her classes focus on building strength, increasing flexibility, life balance, meditation, mindfulness, presence, and gratitude. Victoria is passionate about sharing her yoga practice as she believes we are so pre-occupied with life and our busy schedules consume us - causing us to sometimes lose sight of who we are, what we love and resulting in imbalanced health. Yoga is a way of connecting our mind to our heart, away from dreaming and worrying about the future, focusing on the present and on what we can do in this very moment to reach our aspirations in life. The more time we spend absent-minded, the less open and engaged we are to the great things that are happening right in front of us. Yoga calms the mind, relieves stress, and is an amazing workout keeping you happy, healthy, and feeling great. Her training has been in Hawaii, India, and personal yoga practice for 15 years. With a passion in guiding people to reach their highest potential, Victoria focuses on devoting selfless energy and time into each and every student. Having teachers that have consistently challenged her to always progress mentally and physically, she strives to offer that same feeling of achievement to her students.
